SERVICES & PROCEDURES

Drs. Mark and Sean Sutton and their Greenwich Dentistry staff, are a cosmetic-based dental practice located in the heart of Cos Cob. Their unique approach combines modern technologies and evidence-based therapies to guarantee optimal care to all their patients.

Your smile is the first impression others have of you, so you want it to be bright, white and healthy. According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, more than 99 percent of American adults believe a smile is an important asset for social and professional situations. Perhaps that is why so many patients are electing cosmetic dental procedures to improve their smiles and boost self-confidence. At Greenwich Dentistry, we provide the full spectrum of minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, including porcelain veneers, full coverage crowns, tooth-colored fillings, and in-office whitening.
Sometimes life gets in the way of the perfect smile, as with yellowing, chipped, or broken teeth, or a simple cavity. At Greenwich Dentistry we are committed to restoring our patients’ dentitions to be fully functioning and stable. Restorative dentistry is the study, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the teeth and their supporting structures. Restorative dentistry encompasses endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics; integrating these specialties to ensure esthetic and stable outcomes. We provide composite fillings, full coverage restorations such as crowns and bridges, implants, partial and complete dentures and porcelain inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers.
Preventative dentistry is the practice of caring for your teeth to keep them healthy; avoiding cavities, gum disease, enamel wear, and more. While most of this happens at home, it is important that dentists and dental hygienists monitor oral health and offer guidance and procedures to keep your mouth healthy. At Greenwich Dentistry, we believe the best treatment is prevention. This is why we provide the best diagnostic products available, including digital radiographs, caries risk assessment, and intra-oral pictures. We use cavity prevention tools such as dental sealants and fluoride treatments. Our best method of preventative care is patient education!

AHEAD OF THE CURVE

We are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and breakthroughs in the dental world. We strive to make each doctor-patient interaction as seamless as possible by using cutting-edge technology backed by science.

PORCELAIN VENEERS

Dental veneers – also known as laminates – are used to cosmetically enhance the appearance of teeth. Veneers are very thin, porcelain or resin shells customized for desirable colors and shapes. Patients with veneers typically achieve a natural tooth appearance well -tolerated by the gums and resistant to future stains.

INVISALIGN

Invisalign® is an orthodontic appliance system that inconspicuously treats crooked and crowded teeth in adults and teens. The trays are custom-fitted to the teeth– virtually unnoticeable when laughing, talking, and eating. The aligners offer a slight resistance, forcing teeth to move into alignment over time.

TEETH WHITENING

Tooth-whitening procedures are used to brighten the appearance of a patient’s smile – sometimes by as many as 5 to 10 shades in a single session. According to the American Dental Association, whitening procedures have become some of the most popular esthetic dental treatments in the country

iTero
INTRAORAL SCANNER

The iTero scanner captures 3D digital impressions of teeth, oral soft tissue and structures, and bite relationship. In this way, traditional dental impressions are taken out of the picture. Intraoral scanning is used for Invisalign, diagnostic purposes, and fixed prostheses.
